What do you get when a couple of Landscape Architects makeover the garden of a rental apartment on the thinnest budget possible? (100$ was given by the landlord for plants and less than 200$ was spent otherwise). It is has a certain sense of make-do-with-what-you-have-on-hand sort of style. It reminds me of some frat houses I once hung out at — but its clean, green, and the chairs all match in a cute sort of way. And my favorite part is the laundry line strategically placed to also provide shade. They have lots of clever ideas and how they pulled it all off at their website.
** It seems to me like no plan is ever really built just as planned (at least not in garden design)….and it is fun to see that this project no different. Do you agree, a plan is key, but improvisation always makes it better?!?
