Weekend Things

I’m thoroughly enjoying this Tiny Desk concert here at my desk. Lyle Lovett provided the tunes that were the backdrop to meeting and falling in love with my husband — so when he sent this to me this morning, I took it as a really wonderful day after valentines gift.

I hope you have a great weekend….I’m trying to shut down some windows on my computer…these are all the things that I have left open for over the last week so that I wouldn’t forget about them and so that they can continue to feed me.  Enjoy.

Canada Garden Restaurants

Local, homegrown, real food is my thing. In my spare time, I helped create a farmers market in my town – for lots of reasons, but I have to admit much of my motivation comes from a selfish desire to shop. In my professional life, I can’t overstate why I think hospitality and spa properties…

‘Big Dig’ Reclaimed Cobblestones

If you live in New England, you no doubt know about the continued ails of the “Big Dig”.  Personally whenever I enter the tunnels that traverse the city of Boston and part of the harbor, I find myself driving as slow as possible in the far right lane maintaining one eye on the ceiling.  I…
