When I first found this makeover I assumed it was a garden located somewhere in the middle of America. It just looks so familiar to me that I was surprised to discover that Sue and her garden are actually in Finland! This is, I think, Studio ‘g’s first Finnish Garden.
My favorite part is the rainbow shaped path that leads to the apple tree. The tree of life in a garden full of vegetables and fruit has such a nice symbolism.
Neat and tidy and organized, I find this mostly kitchen garden to be so appealing not only as a place to source all the best of the season, but also to hang out in. The green tented area is the strawberry patch and I am highly envious of the greenhouse. It looks like the greenhouse is plastic covered…so much less expensive than the beautiful glass ones that I dream of one day owning…I am wondering if I might be able to swing building one of these for myself…I can always rip it down and replace it when I win the lottery.
More pictures of Sue’s garden evolution are available on her flickr page and also in the gallery (below).
I LOVE your before and afters! love em!
