A casual beachy vibe and summer sun inspire this quaint garden in Kent England. The views stretch out over the English Chanel and the casual English cottage style is cozy and relaxing.
As beach front gardens go, what I find particularly appealing about this one is the rustic country nature of the place. The landscape is lush and and a little wild as opposed to hyper controlled or modern and to me, that is what I want when am doing some ocean front relaxing.
When I was in Ikea last week, I was surprised at how inexpensively you could get their largest umbrella. And the large umbrella was truly large – able to cover an entire mid sized patio…I pondered in awe the bigger bigger bigger trend….so I am intrigued by these umbrellas that are clearly smaller. This is a choice instead to focus on detail rather than actually blocking out the sun completely. I think I prefer the ability to have my legs in the sun and my face shielded and the act of having to adjust the shade and my position as the day progresses seems like and interesting way to pass a lazy garden day away.
