Hey There! I’m Rochelle Greayer. I’m a garden designer on TV and IRL. I’m also an author and entrepreneur who thinks she can save the world by teaching everyone a little something about landscape design.

Blogs I like July 2010

far out flora blog header

Far Out Flora – Matti and Megan’s enthusiasm is infectious and it reaches right out through your computer screen and grabs you.  And I am totally envious of the Workshop where they share their interests with others who want to make terrariums, succulent bowls and plant-y such.  Workshop offers the. coolest. classes.

Gathering spriggs blog header

Gathering Spriggs – Vintage-y inspiration from a blogging friend.  Heather is also doing a giveaway of some of her treasures.  Worth a clik-by sooner than later to maybe get in on  winning.

my marrakesh blog header

My Marrakesh – Maryam in Morocco is rapidly nearing the end of a very long road to create a Moroccan guest house.  I have loved following this journey and I am excited to see what the next stage brings in her adventure.

LA times at home blog header

LA Times at Home – While it never features a garden in my neck of the woods, it is endlessly interesting and full of otherworldly (at least to my New England tuned mind) gardens, planting and design ideas.

playscapes blog header

Playscapes – It’s like a bottomless pit of inspiration for me.  Full of glorious play places from around the world, I constantly see ideas in these designs for other non-play features.  I actually have to limit myself on this site…I can start to loose too much time.

garden rant

Garden Rant – Who’s not already reading Garden Rant? Really, What’s not to like; fresh writing, lively debate, and talented energetic creators.

A verdant Life blog hearder

A Verdant Life – John is fellow garden designer who I hope to one day have the chance to meet.  New postings every few weeks always hit a note with me, as I am frequently thinking about similar issues.  Currently he is talking about Vectorworks… a product I am working on switching over to…before that, a terrific post about getting to know yourself before planning you garden.  How else will your garden reflect your unique personality? – I could not have agreed more.

travelling tribe header

Traveling Tribe As I am now traveling, I find I miss my old life of living in London and making a monthly adventures to a foreign European lands even more than I normally do.  Tina is however living my old life — currently in Denmark having relocated from Morrocco and Spain.  Who knows where she and her family of five will head next, but I enjoy checking in to see what they are up to and do a little vicarious living.

arstists who blog header

Artists Who Blog

Is a compilation much like what I currently have going on here at studio ‘g’.  Simple interviews with lots of blogging artists.  I like it not so much because the questions are compelling, but because I find other artists inspiring, and this introduces me to some new people and I can delve deeper into some of the links to find even better and more interesting sites.
