Before and Afters are some of my favorite posts! I am excited to keep them as part of my regular schedule. Every Thursday – right here. Trouble is, they can at times be hard to com by, so if you have a project to share, email me right here.
The sense of accomplishment is always so palpable when you can set the beginning right next to the end. Kylee’s greenhouse project in Ohio is no exception. With help from her mother, father, and husband they ripped out a small Japanese garden and replaced it with a conservatory where Kylee can enjoy her plants and flowers even in the dead of winter.
The cozy warmth of the building at night reminds me of winter in Scandinavian homes. The project is not quite finished; the cold of winter caught up with construction, causing a hurried move of plants before the painting was completed.
To see more of Kylee’s pictures as well as keep track of its progress next spring when the final touches are complete, visit her blog here.
Rochelle, it’s so nice of you to share my conservatory with your readers! I like seeing before and after projects, too. I’m going to try to reconstruct some of the Japanese garden this spring. Thanks again! 🙂
I would LOVE to see some photos of the inside of this conservatory. It is very interesting to me. I would love to have one of these..and would like to see how it was finished on the inside.
Before and afters are great…this is a wonderful area..and I love Kylee’s blog already.
