I’ve started giving my plants names. I hope this doesn’t turn me into a crazy plant lady, but I like to think of them as little beings (because they are)…with distinct personalities that are highlighted best with a good and fitting name and personal introduction.
So, can I introduce you to Komaki – the Kirengeshoma palmata? I named her after myself (at least the self that comes out when you take the ‘What is your Geisha Name quiz‘) Komaki is apparently my Geisha name and I think it fits her perfectly. Komaki is demure with her always nodding head and her pure but luminescent coloring is fantastically intriguing. Komaki is only mildly happy in my garden — she loves the shade, but I think she would prefer a bit more water…I recently moved her to the bottom of the downspout…I’m hoping it makes her happier and doesn’t overwhelm her.
BTW — what’s you geisha name?
