Some days I am just a little bit bored with shiny or plastic looking designs for outdoor furniture. But concrete has an appeal that feels right for a garden.  There is just something about the fact that it is actually stone and sand and dust – and when set amongst the stone and sand and dust of a landscape it feels quite right.

Concrete can be quite heavy and impractical but with Chicago designer Zachary Bitner’s creative mix of stone, sand and fiberglass he has created outdoor furniture that looks as if it’s solid concrete or time-worn stone,  But it’s moveable…..
