This is the tiniest little  ‘blogs I like’ post .  I have a new favorite reading place– it’s Hello Moxie.   Reading Denise’s posts is like talking to a girlfriend about all the things I like to talk about (except for gardens).   It’s books, pop culture, fashion, interesting newsy things, ideas, and generally a little bit of what I like to discuss with my favorite people (again, if I were forced to eliminate plants and gardens and design from my topics list).

Denise (who is also a photographer) recently discovered the Seussical Craspedia flowers at her farmers market, is obsessed with them, and her picture (above) has passed that little obsession along to me.   It’s a tender annual and best for zones 9 – 11, but I think I might give it a try from seed next year.  I can really see these in my garden and home.
