There are not too many states that I haven’t been too, but Alaska is one of them. (sigh. someday)
This wildflower garden is across the water from the face of Hubbard Glacier on the Russell Fjord in the Gulf of Alaska. It is extraordinarily beautiful and simple, and it reminds me of a big lesson in garden design….if you have a view, borrow it. It’s not like your neighbors lawn mower, you don’t have to give it back.

Never have I seen a photo of a garden in Alaska. This certainly stretches my ideas about what would be possible there!
Wow!
