It’s always intriguing to watch a dingy scrap of land transform into a vibrant and welcoming space, and I’m pretty sure Daniel hit the nail on the head here. Above is what the gated entrance off to the Western side of his house looked like before he got to work. Not totally barren, but still kind of crunchy and tired nonetheless.
And here we have the gorgeous transformation! Daniel found himself with a beautifully refinished space after floating a new patio over the dusty walkway, swapping the frail branches on the gate with more robust boards, stained a vivid honey color [and he even kept the original frame on the gate!] and tearing out the rotted timbers that had previously lined the area. Pretty swell job, Daniel. Thanks for sharing!

It always floors me that such a small change can have such a huge impact in the look and feel of an area. The gate looks amazing.
