DIY: The Seed Savers Necklace

October 15, 2012

Collier_Melon_FR1
After a weekend of DIY (cobblestone patio on the way) that has left my middle finger nearly unusable for typing, I am liking the idea of of a DIY project that seems to have less opportunity for injury.   This beautiful necklace by My Little Fabric uses melon seeds, but I can see it being equally beautiful with a huge variety squash seeds.

The directions are in French, but given that this is really just a cleverly elevated preschool project, I think you can figure it out (or you can google translate it).

I’m dropping hints with my daughter that once she carves her pumpkin, she can perhaps execute this as a holiday gift that I would adore and cherish.
