The legendary Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach has re-opened.  Morris Lapidus designed the curvilinear hotel “as a grand stage where everyone who entered played their part”.  The Victoria Secret fashion show celebrated the re-opening with none other than alot of undies in the garden… A seven story set in an eight story tent was erected around the Fontainebleau’s pool-scape.  If you want to see the goodies – google it…or watch tonight on CBS.

I found it a little tough to get some good snaps of the new landscape which was designed by Lifescapes.

From these it looks like the 1955 kitty pool has been replaced with trendy cabanas and infinity pools.  I am a little sad about that…while it all looks nice, it also seems like it might have lost a little character….but it is hard to say from just pictures.  If you happen to go…please let me know what you thought of the new design.
