Winter 2008/09 in New England has to have been the worst since I have lived here, it started with 10 days of lost power and being thrown into a national disaster area and over 20 snow plow visits later finally has ended.  Shockingly, mildly.

It is April 22nd, it has rained for the last 24 hours. I fertilized my grass little more than a week ago…and mowing season has officially started.
