I am so excited to make this post for Chris in Ohio. Chris commented yesterday about a post from months ago about a Big Red Sun garden where steps and retaining walls were made with steel. Seems he is being met with shaking heads from local landscapers as he tries to create his own version and I love that I have inspired him to push the limits and make them all think outside of the norm. So Chris is looking for more examples of this material being used in the garden…. and here at Studio ‘g’, if you ask you shall receive…
I have to admit, rose gardens are generally not my thing…but this one is so ‘knock my socks off’ beautiful and interesting, I could be talked into a few of these labor intensive plants.
The garden was designed by Topher Delaney is yet another beautiful example of her thoughtful work.
Chris – does that help? Also, if you are in the San Francisco Area (which I know you probably aren’t) – you could get some positive feedback about your ideas in a class that Topher is offering later this month. I know I would sign up immediately if I were in the area.
Wow! This is a stunning garden filled with beautiful design! I have to also mention that I absolutely love your blog! I don’t comment enough about the quality and care of all of your posts! Thanks for inspiring me all the time!
