Hi Friends…I hope you had a good weekend. On Sunday I spent a lot of time sitting on my sofa recovering from Saturday. Yes, the party went well and the Farmers Market Opening Day was awesome too, so it is understandable that I officially crashed from the high of it all. I finally pulled it together enough to clean the kitchen and feed my family leftover hors d’oeuvres for dinner last night. Shockingly my house was not quite the mess I expected so I was free to just sit and be a little bit of a vegetable.
So in the run up to the antics of the last 48 hours, I really never got my intended post up on Friday. I am sorry. So here it is now….All about oil cloth…The magic of which can not be understated when working with garden furniture. I have two picnic tables whose paint jobs simply do not fare well in New England. My answer is oil cloth….it makes them new every season with whatever I feel I want them to look like. It is possibly the handiest stuff for outdoor dining and decorating and I think a whole collection of pieces that fit you garden furniture are unbelievably useful.

This collection from Warm Biscuit is my favorite…I am thinking it may be the scheme I go with for next summer.
