Daily Garden: Mary Lou’s Swedish Cottage

7/08/2010

This Swedish garden belongs to an actress named Mary Lou who spends time here rather than traveling for her holidays.  It is certainly an enviable space – I would be more than happy to spend my holiday here.

Via a twitter design friend I recently learned recently that in western states (particularly California) there has been a significant trend for outdoor bathtubs.  It looks as if that trend – while not in New England, certainly exists beyond the Western US.   This Swedish Tub makes me think that perhaps the idea isn’t quite so impractical in my own Northeastern climate.
