This goes out to so many of my buddies…who, at this time of year, depart for weeks at a time headed for The Vineyard…it is a Massachusetts thing, I guess.  I have never done this type of vacation myself, I am always pulled by destinations further afield and more varied.  But if I knew I could spend a week here, sitting under this arbour, designed by Malcolm James Kutner I think I could be swayed to give up other destinations (at least for one summer).
