As summer winds down, I admit I am relieved to take a break from dirty finger nails and client phone calls. My summers never look like this and I would, someday, like them to.
As the house starts to cool and I am tempted to light a fire, I am moving into winter mode. Writing more and doing less. Generally, I am enjoying the comfort of being inside the home rather than out.
I have decided that people in the landscape industry need winter cottages that are as inviting as this summer cottage. Tricky, I think, without greenery making everything a little more inviting.
