It only took about 20 minutes with my big loppers, but it could have taken five if I had a power tool.

The enormous view blocking mess of a forsythia hedge outside my kitchen window has been taken to the ground. I am quite sure it will come back, lets hope beautifully, or I will need another tool to take it out compeltely. I’m in the market for a few power tools and sadly these are not available in the US, or I would already own one.
This chainsaw is just plain sexy. It is the perfect mix of totally dangerous but manageable by a woman. I won’t touch my husbands chains saw, I have never actually used one, but I can actually see myself feeling the power of slicing through brush (and monster sized forsythia hedges) like butter with this beauty.
And given its pedigree (German designed by the same people who created the Lamborghini car), I think the Tonino Lamborghini garden line might actually be as good as it looks.
A few weeks ago, my old weed whacker literally went up in smoke. The lamborghini wheeled vacuum cleaner version has me so intrigued…except for that power cord part…my next one will either be gas powered or re-chargable — but oh, if only I lived abroad….
