The idea for SeedLiving was borne on a date night… as designer/ website creator Anna Monique describes…. “Lickity split and with an olive in his mouth he (her husband) blurps out, “why don’t do you do a seedy saturday website?” I sat there stunned. “But someone is probably doing it already.” Its true, there’s Ebay, there’s Etsy, and there are seed savers exchanges on line, but there wasn’t anything that offered all of this and more. There are hundreds of small seed sellers on line but how do you find them when you want to buy a specific seed? This is it, I thought, this is really it. I had nuit blanches for a week.”

I am excited to participate…initially, I will only be buying as I have not organized myself to sell. There are not a ton of offerings yet….but there are a few that have already caught my eye. I have forever been in love with Scabiosa (particularly the black burgundy color) and new on my radar is the Adonis aestivalis which appeals to my poppy loving sensibilities.
