The Rake Roundup – 13 Rakes for Every Purpose

10/14/2010

The leaves are turning and I am all overwhelmed with the annual display of beauty here in the leaf peeping capitol…(New England)

I thought I might make a small little series of fall inspired posts related to all things autumnal and leaf peeping-ish over the next week of so (or until the last of the beauty has faded – or until I run out of ideas for autumn inspired posts — whichever comes first)

My “no clog” rake clogs (useless) and my blower is really the best way to deal with the bulk of things, but I also get pine needles that cling no matter how much air blows and often the blower isn’t just the right thing, so I rounded up 13 more interesting rakes  that serve lots of purposes.

Rakes for every purpose rake roundup

1. Adjustable Rake full size rake found at Yardsurfer 2. OXO  adjustable Hand Rake 3. Flexrake Classic Long Reach Rake 4. Bamboo Rake 5. Plastec Hand Rake (2 – 5 all from Keim Lumber) 6. Groundskeeper Rake from Keim Lumber 11. Groundhog Rake from Southwest Gardener 12. DeWit 5 tine Cultivator from Outdoor and More 13. Dummy Rake from Acorn Golf  Online.
