I love noticing the details the give a place the personality it deserves. For me, a classic southern garden (such as this) has a few things, wrought iron railings and accessories, beautiful red brick, an organized somewhat formal layout and those fantastic light fixtures — gaslight if possible, but lantern shaped at least.

thanks – I had not thought of matching bench, railing and light in wrought iron for year round structure – I’m usually either in hardscape or plant mode.
