These gardens are not for me, and quite frankly, if you have kids or pets they probably are not for you either. That’s not to say, I don’t completely love them (I do)….it’s just that I can’t imagine having the patience to create the beautiful patterns and if I did achieve such a feat, I would want to kill the creature who messed it up (very un-zen indeed).
But for those of you who can’t keep anything green alive, but you do have a steady hand and the cool composure to garden in this way — I highly reccommend the ‘cactus in hot pink sand’ garden….it is just the thing for you.

These are beautiful!
While I have a large garden for the time being, various reasons beyond my control allow for the tragic possibility of losing it at any time. So I ask myself, ‘what will I do’ if such a thing happens. Well such examples as this post , provide a livable answer.
