Tiny garden, Tiny Pond — It doesn’t typically work.
But tiny garden filled with pond….well that has some potential. When faced with a little space, I often think it more wise to fill it full of much bigger statements than might seem appropriate. Instead of scaling all the elements to the size of the plot (you can’t have everything) opt instead to maximize just a few.
See the After…After the jump.
In this case, the homeowner made the pond twice as big so that the whole garden is pond and surroundings and not only is it much prettier, but it seems bigger.

Good to be taught that we sometimes need a change of Proportion as well as a change in Perspective. Thanks.
