As if I am not already envious of the Californians and west coasters who are (presumably) blissfully going about their regular business (rather that waiting for the ominous coming of powerless days and the unknowing of when it will come back)….they can also plant Lotus jacobaeus. When I saw this zone 9-11 plant on Annie’s Annuals website, I immediately felt the pangs of envy. Why can’t something this cool grow here? It is plants like this that make me feel like a greenhouse must someday be in my future.
