The last Live Garden Makers Mastermind Lecture of 2021 is this Saturday November 13th 2021, at 3:00pm EST. (and if you are reading this after that date – don’t worry – you can still watch the presentation by clicking the link below)
We are talking about Restoring Soils & the Tools You Need to Heal Your Damaged Soil with Dale Strickler (Dale is the author of the book – The Complete Guide to Restoring Your Soils).
As Dale says –
“There are a couple persistent myths about soil restoration. The first is that it is a nearly impossible task, and takes multiple lifetimes if not centuries to accomplish. The second is that restoring soil is an expensive process that takes economic sacrifice. This session goes beyond the “just buy a lot of manure or compost and dump it on your fields” mentality to demonstrate fast, effective, and most importantly profitable means of making better soil using the same natural processes by which soil was originally formed, but with gentle nudges from modern knowledge and technology.”-Dale Strickler
There is actually a third (and even more interesting) myth – but I’ll let him go into that in the presentation. 😉
Whether you really understand that healthy soil is key to sustaining life on Earth or are just getting started with understanding that, at the very least, your garden will be prettier and healthier if your soil is in good shape, this session will inspire you to take action and gain understanding about what you can do.
Not only will you learn how you can combat climate change in your own backyard – but how to grow better too.
Gardeners have an opportunity to help reverse the impacts of climate change – if we know what to do – and this is one way we can learn to do better.
