Many years ago, just weeks before I was married, I made a trip to Washington state.  My soon to be husband and I needed a break and in our more youthful freedom we hopped a flight to Seattle, rented a car and took off towards the San Juan Islands. In my memory, the whole area is truly one of the most beautiful places on earth and I remember it so fondly.

Colleen Miko gets to work with this amazing landscape from her Port Orchard Office regularly.  I am completely envious of this garden project, which overlooks puget sound.

Faced with a steep hillside she choose to design a series of water feature retaining walls that fill the garden with the sound of falling water to compliment the beautiful views.
