Have you ever pressed flowers?  It’s really an easy affair when you are smashing posies in a book, but if you are looking for a way to make this sentimental pastime a bit more challenging, perhaps you can take inspiration from Ignacio Canales Aracil.

These delicate sculptures were created by pressing and drying wild flowers all at once (in a from) and are not held together with glue or any structure.  The result is something that I think would be absolutely lovely underneath a glass dome where it can be viewed as the piece of art that it is.
