Projects like this get me in trouble with my husband. The makeover is so compelling and beautiful that I find myself constantly shopping pieces to magically make over with some powder coating and new strapping. Trouble is, reality sets in and I almost never get things finished as fast I hope.
If you are the same, perhaps leaving the dirty work to experts is a better idea. Potted, an LA based garden and design shop took care of the dirty work on this little set. I think they did a fabulous job — the fresh tomato red is a near universally good garden color to spice up a variety of different garden schemes.
I have a rectangular table without the glass top…what would you suggest I replace the top with?
I would check with local glass suppliers and replace the glass (tempered, shatterproof, table top glass), unless you want a different look, then really, there are lots of options….wood (or wood products) are first to mind – perhaps painting it something fun and appealing to you.
