Inspired By: Empty Lots

empty lots ersies by chad gerth

I find it particularly interesting when real life photography resembles abstract art.  Like the National Geographic photo I shared a couple weeks ago.  The Emply Lots series of photos taken by Chad Gerth is equally interesting.  That these empty lots, when viewed from above, have such pleasing compostion, and varied texture while having little color and variation is quite inspiring.  It’s a reminder that a lot can be done with a little if you focus on texture, form and shape.
