I’m interested in getting better at a few things.  Photography, photo styling, photo editing and taking more time to be in touch with the little moments of my everyday life are all on the list.

Starting something new….like a regular post about what I have picked in my garden or elsewhere on that day seems like a perfect way to feed all these pursuits as well as document the seasons.  I can’t wait to look back over a year of these posts to see my skills improve, my creativity evolve and the land’s gifts move through the season.   Plus, I am looking forward to sharing my best shots with my friend Daniel and his readers in his monthly Post Produce roundup (you can share your shots too!).

Today– Black raspberries, lavender, and blueberries…all picked within 30 feet of my front door.
