I really enjoy reading stories about people who take huge leaps when buying a home and this is a great example. Kristina and her boyfriend lived in busy Portland, Oregon when they decided they were due for a change. After searching high and low for almost 2 years, they finally found a gem of a house in the beautiful rural countryside.
The couple saw potential in their new yard and knew that it was perfect for a tiny campsite. They got to work right away…branches were chosen for the tipi and a small guest house was built and painted. They tidied up the fire pit area and split lots of wood for fires. Of course, there were a lot of other things they did in order to bring the yard to life, although Kristina says that they still have a lot of work to do. But for now, I think things are looking great! Nice job Kristina!
