Mondrian Hotels in general are my landscape hotels of the week.  Why? The pictures speak for themselves, but I want to point something out here…these hotels are at the forefront of hotel design and they are noticeably putting a huge priority on the design of their outside spaces.

When not dealing with large pieces of land, the landscape is often the overlooked opportunity for hospitality properties to make a guest impression.   Outdoor rooms are nothing new as trends go, but I think there is a growing swell that as our houses need to become smaller and more efficient, rooms that are outside will become important and take on a more ‘designer’ flair.
