Better Homes and Gardens Plant Database

April 6, 2009

I was asked by BHG to make a post about their new and improved online plant database/ encyclopedia… which I happily agreed to, as it seems like a useful tool.
From Nathan at Better Homes and Gardens:

Because it’s spring planting time, I’m working with Better Homes and Gardens to let you know that has completely upgraded its online Plant Encyclopedia to give you and your readers an easy way to search for information on specific plants for their garden and climate.
Each listing in this Plant Encyclopedia has customized links to garden plans and slide shows and, one of the features I find most useful, you are able to get information about plants growing conditions in your specific location.

(oh– very Good!!)

Nathan also wanted to remind us that there is a “Spring Awakening” online sweepstakes to win a free Prius going on too.
