Hamilton Gardens in New Zealand have created a series of themed gardens from around the world. One of which is this interesting modernist American Garden that features a Marylin Monroe mosaic and a kidney pool with a modern sculpture in the middle.

I have no idea what the material is…but I just assumed that it was painted concrete….
