Design Night Planters – A Modern Strawberry Pot

10/13/2009

Design Night Modern Strawberry Pot

While my own verdict on the ubiquitous and questionably effective strawberry pot is still out, I have to say I would be willing to try again if I could achieve this look.   It is glazed (making it retain more water) and it looks like I could install a perforated PVC pipe down the middle to help with watering.  Couple that with the fact that this is immensely more stylish than the terracotta standard and I think want one.  They were created by Tram Pham and Dominic D’Andrea of Design Night.

Really like this lotus inspired look! Wouldnt it be great in an interior settings? Bring IN the green! ( Must be this drizzly cool fall New England weather speaking!) Would be good in different sizes too. Bigger…
    Thanks for the find.

  2. Layanee says:

I say the bigger the better with these planters as most require constant attention to look good. These are quite beautiful and I can’t wait to see what you plant in them.

  3. michelle d. says:

    Love the modern twist.
In my minds eye I see an artichoke more than a lotus.
Whichever, they are fantastic and have given me a neat idea.
Thanks for digging this up !
