Daily Garden: Kid Friendly Courtyard

In the absence of a sidewalk or driveway (as my kids use), certainly the next best thing is a giant chalkboard in the garden.

It is highly functional, clean modern and safe.   Anyone have any ideas what the bar in the chalk board is for? Maybe it’s a shelf?  I love the orla Keily -esque pattern on the cushions too (another something to keep an eye out for!).  Designed by Secret Gardens of Sydney.

Perhaps the bar on the chalk board is for curtains so the kids can do a Big Reveal? It’s a stumper.

I would love to believe that toys can be stored in the bench, too.

I am guessing that the bar is for either hangin white paper to project a movie or those pull down maps from earl school years. Just a guess.
