I know it it is a little early to wish you happy spring…it it still officially a few weeks away…but I heard my local meteorologist say this morning that today is the meteorological first day of spring…and well, being as impatient as I am, I’ll take it.
I give you Pothole Gardens, created by artist Pete Dungey in England as part of an ongoing series of public installations highlighting the problem of surface imperfections on Britain’s roads.
‘If we planted one of those in every hole, it would be like a forest in the road’
My neighbor has put a cute little hand painted sign on my road it reads: “frost heaves” – that is putting it lightly….if I filled it with dirt and planted it, we would have something resembling a mini golf course. — -but I am tempted….
I love it! This makes me very inspired to go out and garden in the pot holes outside my house!
