Daily Garden: Jo’s Jewel Garden

I really enjoy the mix of jewel tones plants in this garden.  Designer Jo Thompson says “These beds were then filled with a mass of various grasses including Stipa tenuissima, Calamagrostis brachytricha and Panicum virgatum ‘Heavy Metal’, inter-planted with perennials such as Salvia ‘Caradonna’ and Geum ‘Princes Irene’…  Yes, but what I really love is this Scabiosa, Sedum combo….I need to figure out these exact varieties…
