Before & After: Alexandra’s Make-Under Covered Patio

2/24/2011

When I saw Alexandra’s shed makeover on Design*Sponge this morning, my first thought, was geez Grace and her team are up early (I thought I was the only insomniac blogger!) ….and my second was to click back to the before a couple times trying to make sure that the ‘after’ was really a product of the ‘before’.   Taking an old run down shed, and making it under by removing the top half of the walls in order to create a covered patio is a genius idea for transforming this back garden space.  If this where mine, I would have the ceiling covered with twinkle lights so every dinner outside could still be under the ‘stars’ and I’d have clematis or rose vines growing up those posts.
