DIY: When the Rubber Hits the Road…. er Playground

There is a quite interesting DIY handbook available from french design team Sensomoto that instructs how to use tires (both as is and deconstructed) to create interesting playspaces in urban areas or in your own backyard.

Perhaps it will inspire you to create something from these materials….I am certainly intrigued by the idea of cutting them flat and using the upturned strips to create outdoor surfaces.
