I’m back from the dentist — lets hope that the antibiotics work (even though through some strange-backwards-dentist-logic, he says that if the antibiotics help, then that is actually bad…..whatever, I just want my face to stop hurting. Now.)
Ignoring that situation as best I can…..I wanted to share with you a great site for buying hairpin legs (prices starting at $12 each). I think these table legs (whether in stainless or raw steel, two rod or three rod) are perfect for making hip but budget friendly garden furniture. They are really strong, really inexpensive and really stylish. three screws attach each to your choosen table top — what could be easier?
So I am thinking the coolest thing that I might do would be to have a hand at making that concrete table top and using these for legs. What do you think? Do you have a project you can use these legs for? No? Let me give you some inspiration….
Hairpin stool from etsy, perforated bin on hairpin legs (great for planting) and rusted steel tray on hairpin legs, both from V and M, Hairpin legs and wood bench from remodelista, retro mosaic table top from C Diane Zweig and legs from hairpinlegs.com.
These are great ideas! We have tried a few similar projects ourselves and have found another great source for our hairpin legs.
