I took a class a couple weeks ago so that I could belay my husband and little people while rock climbing. It was fun to learn the knots and I found a strange attraction to learning the different ways to twist and loop the rope.

I am quite sure that I need to try macrame…I think I would like it. Or perhaps I might try this rope mat project. The instrucitons are availabe here, or if you have not the patience, you can just order a pre-made rug directly from Karen’s Etsy Shop.
