Are you preparing for THE storm? I figure while I still have power I might as well shop….right? I’ve been noticing lately that more retailers are offering design savvy garden related products. These are some of my favorites.
Perhaps one of the stores I miss the most from my London days is Marks and Spencer. (the grocery store and the pre-made meals are the best!). M&S is has some fun products that I am coveting….and while they all carry a sophisticated style, Designer Paul Hervey-Brooks is also conscious of little friends in the garden who also need special homes and care. There are insect houses, hedgehog houses and cane toppers that also do double duty as a bug home — and the tiered container is great for balcony gardeners.
Does you taste run a little more modern? West Elm has a great collection of pots, plant stands, and tools that I am also finding appealing. (of all the colors hoses come in these days….I find yellow the most appealing).
And finally — if you like things outside to be really shout out loud vibrant — check out the collection at Shelterblack. There are florescent dinosaur planters, chunky wood tables and squares for planting succulent gardens.
