CONNECT:

I work at the intersection of design, horticulture, culture, and systems—helping people and institutions think clearly, act deliberately, and create lasting impact.

It maybe quite cold (and getting colder) where you are.   But on the flip side of the planet, gardening season is just getting started.   I have been charmed by the work of The Little Veggie Patch before, but now they are taking their apple crate planters and turning them into a community garden with a twist. Check it out.

Turning urban, allotment style gardening into a social and learning club is not only a clever and helpful idea, but I also think that it is wonderful that growing and tending is, through this project, part of the community glue.
