Hey, I could use some help. I’m deep into the process of writing my book and sourcing images to accompany my words. I have had a trip to Los Angeles planned for many months and I am photographing a few gardens for my book while there. One of the garden shoots planned has fallen through – and that is specifically a garden that exemplified Hollywood Regency style, and now I need a replacement. Do you know of anything?
Specifically — I am looking for a (preferably small residential) garden in the greater LA area that has as many elements of Hollywood Regency style as one garden can muster. I’d love it if the owner was modern version of a pin-up diva. I’ve got a pin board set up so you can see what I mean by Hollywood Regency. I am going to be in LA from the 15th to the 22nd of April…and would want to schedule a photoshoot in that time. Thanks for any leads you might have – the right project will be featured in my book.

I don’t personally know her, but there’s a photographer in LA named Tamar Levine (Google her, she has a website with contact info). Based on some of her photos, I think she might be able to help you.

Good luck on your photo shoot! I hope that you’ll have a great place where you can shoot a lot of photos. I can’t recommend anything since I’m not into photography, but I am really hoping that you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for. Can’t wait for the photos, though. 🙂
