I’m a sucker for any landscape project that includes the addition of a new path, so when I came across this yard out of Austin, Texas I knew it would be a good one. Evolving over the course of 2 summers, homeowner and blogger Cyndi K. created a serene retreat spanning across her entire front yard. After tearing out the grass along with other landscaping, Cyndi wasn’t left with much more than a yard of leveled dirt.
Once she had a clean slate to work with, she began to bring in plants, stone and mulch to flank her newly constructed path. She stained the fence a warm brown and added some elements for the neighborhood birds. Of course, there are plenty of other photos on her blog that you should check out- different angles and lots of before and after shots. Check it out if you have a moment. Nice job, Cyndi! -erin

I also really enjoy the curing path; what a pleasant surprise for your eye. Your photos of before and after are always very useful and very helpful for those of us looking for new ideas..
So appealing! I bet the birds and other wildlife love it.
