Joy Flanagan has been behind the bar at Armsby Abbey in Worcester, MA going on 7 years now.  It was there that she gained her knowledge and appreciation of craft beer, farm-to-table cuisine, and most importantly, cocktails.  In that time, she has gone from attending the industry’s premiere cocktail event, Tales of the Cocktail, to embarking on her third stint as one of their prestigious Cocktail Apprentices.  Driven by Armsby Abbey’s philosophy of local, seasonal cuisine, Joy can currently be found mixing, tasting, and perfecting drinks using the freshest ingredients from local farms to bring to her guests at the Abbey and the readers of Pith & Vigor!
