After Cheryl’s experience with cancer, her vision was to create a shift in life to spend more time “smelling (and photographing) the roses.” That vision became her passion as she founded Floating Petals, with floral photography and insights designed to create moments of beauty and inspiration for others. Cheryl has been photographing flowers for the past four years, with her travels taking her to some of the most beautiful botanical gardens and arboretums in the world. She also loves to photograph flowers she comes across in nature, and finds abundant inspiration in her own perennial and cutting gardens. Her unique floral photography, enhanced with inspiring quotes and personal reflections, are created to give people a reason to pause and take a joyful moment for themselves, letting art and nature soothe and engage them.
